you will need to go into the header.php file and reference the logo where you want it to go. you most likely will need to style it so that it appears where and how you would like.

I do fully agree: Firebug is essential and life-saving for me, too. - I also like to use "NoScript" to simulate non-Js-enabled browsing with one single klick. "HTML Validator" is also a favorite of mine, cause I like to read sth like: "0 Errors / 0 Warnungs" direcly in my status bar at the end of the day :-)

I love your pretty parchment theme, and I'm fairly new to WordPress. Can you tell me how to put a company logo up in the header in place of the text header? The site in question is martonijames.com.

you can put the code anywhere in a php page that you would like your custom key to appear. the first is an example in which you would put anything into the custom key.

the second example shows you how you how you could use the could to place an image on your page. the code would be placed into whichever .php file it correlates to and the custom key would be placed into a post.

Amanda Helms,
just download the theme again and only copy over the .php file you need or even just the bit of code you need.

It should be a simple CSS change. If you are not already using the Firebug plugin for Firefox, download it and it will greatly help you figure out what fixes you need.

I love your theme! I've used it to transfer an old strictly html site to the world of wordpress. So far, everything is working great. However, I do have one question. I love your theme and don't want to switch. But, I would like the option to add a third column (most likely a left sidebar). Is that possible with this theme? How much would I have to change to accomplish this and is it even worth it? Would I be better off to find a different theme that already comes with three columns? (Please keep in mind that I really like everything else about your theme and don't really want to leave it). Thanks!
