The only problem with this is that it does not shorten the URL at all. But other than that, it should work just fine.

We’d also prefer that you didn’t pull the image from our site, so feel free to download it and upload to your own site.

Flash button click-to URL

Maybe if I did Flash stuff more often, I wouldn’t always forget this.

If you have a button in flash that you want to click to a web URL, simply right click the object and click “convert to symbol”. Choose button and name it if you’re so inclined.

Next, with your button selected, go to the top nav bar and highlight “Window” then select “Behaviors”.

Select “+” and then “Web” – “Go to Webpage”.

Type in the URL and set your Open in command.

Click OK and you are set.
